ACC's Volunteer Program Continues to Disintegrate
In preparation for the June 21st ACC Board Meeting, we thought it useful to revisit the ACC's
Volunteer Program.  At the last board meeting, the ACC Executive Director said that hundreds of
volunteers were pouring into the program, and Manhattan and Brooklyn would soon have 231
and 51 volunteers, respectively

When pigs fly..

New volunteers -- at least those didn’t drop out during the endless mandatory classes -- quickly
disappear once they visit a shelter and see the misery there.

Existing volunteers are steadily being driven out or demoralized by a hostile Management.

In the end, it’s the animals that suffer.  After all, it was Management’s plan to have volunteers
take over the jobs of those employees the ACC can’t afford to hire.

For your viewing pleasure, we again offer a video that appears to be custom-made for the ACC’s
situation..

If, on June 21st, ACC Management starts singing the praises of their Volunteer Program, you'll
know better.
